Art has been part of my life since childhood. I have always loved drawing and working with my hands, exploring how an idea can become something tangible.

In 2007, I began learning Arabic calligraphy and working as a calligrapher and artist. Around the same time, I started exploring graphic design through Photoshop, before expanding into other Adobe applications.

In 2008, I joined the Faculty of Fine Arts at Minia University. I spent two years there, completing the preparatory year and my first year in the Graphic Department, where I ranked first with an Excellent grade of 88%. I later continued my studies at Alexandria University, graduating in 2013 from the Graphic Department, with a specialisation in Publishing Illustration.

While studying, I founded Masterpiece in Alexandria in 2010. As the business grew, I worked with an expanding range of clients, including Mo’men and the veterinary pharmaceutical company Bioseen. This experience brought together my creative practice and my first steps as an entrepreneur.

In 2015, after graduating, I closed my company and moved to Saudi Arabia to work as a designer at an advertising agency in Khamis Mushait. My career then took me to Dammam and Al Khobar, before I relocated to Bahrain with the company I was working for.

In 2019, I founded ANSTM in Bahrain, specialising in marketing, design, website development, and promotional services for clients. The company continues to operate today.

In 2022, I founded my second company, Kayan Art. It was later renamed Basma Paradise for Events & Decor, known as Basma Events, specialising in exhibition organisation, booth construction, and advertising signage.

The two companies complement each other: one focuses on marketing and design, while the other brings ideas into physical spaces through exhibitions, booths, and signage. Together, they reflect a creative journey that connects visual communication with hands-on execution.
